Today I`m going to talk about how green I am, that doesnt mean that I want to know the color of my skin or something in this way, today I will analize some aspects of my life with the purpose to see how echologycal are my habits, my way of life, my cotidian life.
Most of people dont make many enviromentally friendly practices, because they didnt learnt it, nobody talks them to do anything about the enviroment. I`m not a super-hero of the enviroment, but I try to do my best, or actually I try do as less as possible to increase the enviroment-damage. I never drop garbage in the street, i dont smoke too much, I`m not a compulsive consumist, I allways try to ride wiht my bike, instead of using the bus or a car. I dont participate into an eco-activist movement, maybe because I have many dudes about the real purposes of them, I think much of them dont do real usefull things, but I may reconsider it if I investigate something more...
I think much of the polution, and the carbon footprint is generated by real big industries and companies, it may have sense to sensibilize to the people of reducing his carbon footprint, but the real change would not came from individual changes, most of the enviro-damages are planned by important people in an office, I dont know exactly where, but they wont changes his habits only because good intentions.
I think that in Santiago we do our best to contaminate and polute so much as we can, first of all, we are in a valley, that means that most of the polution stay in the air for a long time, in that way we should become aware about he problems of the toxic gases in the atmosphere.
We have much to do in public policies and in conscience to make better our relation with the enviroment.

Animals
Today I´m gonna talk about the animals, first of all I would like to describe what an animal is: an animal can be defined as a major group of eukaryotic cells, those cells conserve many of they features through many processes called metabolism. Most of animals are motile, that means they can move around by herselfs; most of them are also heterotrophs, they need another organisms for living. Like all the living beings, the animals are in a constant process of autopoesis, they are a "self-production machine".
But today I wanna talk about especifically about one of the world´s rarest animals: the platypus.
The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) is a very strange animal endemic of Oceania, its a semi-aquatic mammal, but is one of the 5 rare mammals that put eggs instead of having living calves.
Those rare animals are called monothremes and have many special features: they are mammals, they put eggs, but they also produce milk fot the babies.
The platypuses are also venomous, they use this venom to protect themself of the predators.
I like the platypuses very much, I think they are very interesant and amusing, I have never seen a Platypus, nor in the Zoo. I think the people who saw them for the first time were extreme amused, and they didnt knew how to catalogate this kind of animals, because they really are out of the classical definition of the mammals. But in that way, I think is the most interesant think about the platypuses: the are like a living chain in the evolution between the aquatic/oviparous animals and the terrestrial/vivparous, they are like living fosils of evolution processes.

The Guardian article
Today i´m gonna talk about an article of The Guardian that is related to my career: sociology.
Today I was reading the Guardian and I saw an article which talked about the Falkland Islands, I was very suspicious: why was there an article about the Falkland Islands?
Then I read the hole article, it was about a new polemic between Argentina and England, but so far I know this contreverse between this 2 countries was closed too many years ago...but the fact is that the last week the Prime minister of England has revived the rhetoric of the Falklands War, like in the year 1982! All started after David Cameron (the UK P.M.) acussed Argentina of adopting a colonial attitude towards the Falkland Islands because the Argentine Foreign-minister has talked about "las Malvinas" as part of his country again. Cameron said that most of the Falklanders would´nt like to be Argentinians, and in that way Argetine acts with a colonial attitude.
I dont know exactly what to think about it, first of all I think that England can´t talk to Argentina as having a colonial attitude, because they were and still being a colonialist country, they were for centuries the most powerfull colonialist country, they had colonies in India, in Ceylan, in South-america, in Africa, in China, everywhere!
But I think also, that this Islands are not really important to this two giant countries, Argentina has not problems with having less territory, and England is anyway too far; I think the fact in this polemic is that this 2 countries are having now internal problems, and as everybody knows: distract thi internal problems with external problems its a perfect solution! All Europe has now a crisis and like in 1982, what should be better to England as having a new upsurge of patriotism?
We should also think about how this kind of politics are being used in our continent...

My favourite kind of music and my favourite song!
Today i`m gonna talk about my favourite kind of music, since I`m a child I have listened too many kinds of music, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Folk, Brit, etc., etc... Nowadays I would say that my favourite kind of music is Rock, I`m not a real expert of music nor an expert of rock, but I know some bands that I like very much...So far I know about Rock, it was born in the 50`s in the United States of America, after the Rock and Roll and the Rockabilly legacy. Elvis Presley is maybe the most popular and one of the first icon of the Rock and Roll....
In the following years the Rock music was expanded to another continents, first to Europe, and then to other continents like Asia, Africa, or sub-continents like Southamerica.
The most of rock music is written in English, because it was born in an ex-british colony, but exist also many groups that play rock in other languages: spanish, french, german, turkish, etc, etc...
One of my favourite artist is Bob Dylan, he is an north-american singer and guitar player, who sings a mix between rock and folk music, and my favourite song of Dylan is Like a Rolling Stone, this song talks about a girl, called Miss Lonely, who in the past was very rich but not anymore and how her life has changed...I was 14 when I heard this song for the first time, I didnt understood it, but it liked me, maybe because the keyboard-solo and the voice of Bob...
